“The worst thing a kid can say about homework is that it is too hard and worst thing a kid can say about a game is it’s too easy..”

Our Fun city Fellowship on 29th July was a memorably interactive experience, with arcade games , children’s shooting and coin operated games, carousel, and many more at a single place.

The scope of fun extended from a common big play area to a smaller kids play area with slides, glides and much more.. With Twinklers Kairav , Smriti, Samaaira, Vansheeka ,Simren, Aum ,Pranav, Jia, Khushi, Tia, Kiara, Aryan, and Aarav.

….. And so ends our Fun Limited Express – a marathon of gala fun for the twinklers over 3 days.. who says we need an excuse or an occassion to indulge them? 🙂

Dear Friends,

Tears of a mother cannot save her Child. But your Blood can….

With a view to the above statement BNLC14 and BNRT25 has taken up the responsibility to arrange Blood donation camps throughout the year. Till date we have organized two camps and really elated to express the success of the camps and gratitude towards the people donating their blood to save lives. Our first Blood Donation Camp was held on 25th July at the Hotel Marriot where we collected 58 units of Blood. The second one was at the Heritage Apartment in Yelahanka Bangalore where we collected 54 units. Door to door campaigns by distributing pamphlets, explaining the benefits of blood donations were the highlights of this project. The Rashtrothana Blood Bank has given us a certificate of appreciation and Souvenir for this noble cause..

Every Blood Donor is a Hero…

Warm Regards

MY FIRST AGM: GO, GOA, GONE…. SRT 135 & SLC-72

When I started packing my bags the excitement started building up. I had never been on a vacation with so many friends together.

We started out reaching the Surat station and amidst the hustle and bustle of a typical station were loads of my friends. The atmosphere was electric. There were smiles and laughs, high-fives and jokes. And above all anticipation that the next 3 days were going to be epic.

As the train journey began, the atmosphere was festive, almost like going to attend a BIG family wedding. Chit-chat was followed by dumbcharades as circlers and past circlers flooded the train with food, this was a gastronomical party with one bag opening after another and everything from khakhras to chips, from kachori’s to pulav being enjoyed by one and all. As we reached Panvel our table guest past tabler Vinod joined us with his family and he served us yummy Kulfi which we gorged on. As the gup-shup continued it was a fantastic time to bond with the SRT-135/SLC-72 family, we had a fantastic time chatting away almost all night, as time flew we soon realized it was 4 A.M. and it was prudent to hit the sack in order to have an equally enjoyable day the next day.

As we reached Goa and hopped on to the bus we gazed at the beautiful greenery Goa had to offer. Finally we reached Citrus and were welcomed with a chilled welcome drink. After which we headed to breakfast. Following this the tablers and twinklers hit the pool whilst the girls continued to chat poolside.

As it struck 3:00 it was time for our AGM. All of us clad in our beautiful beige Sarees and the Tablers in their table shirts assembled in the hall. As the theme unfolded Batameez Dil turned out to be a fantastically thought out theme. The sergeants Gaurav, Swati, Nishith and Rekha did a fantastic job. They really made us crack up with laughter. I have always believed that ‘Laughing together is the best way on bonding together’ and bond we did. Then came the time that I was eagerly awaiting. The Induction. I have been associated with the circle for over a year now, and have fostered some of my best friendships through the circle. The induction went picture perfect. It was almost like a fairytale, akin to a ceremony to welcome me into the circling family- officially. Herein after i shall be referred to as Circler Nainika. Being inducted at this wonderful AGM is a memory I will cherish for life.

Following the AGM we rushed to our rooms to get ready for our theme party ‘Bollywood Returns’. We were all eager to check-out how everyone was dressed. As we walked out of our rooms in our “oh not so Goa” attire, we were gazed at by everyone in the hotel. However we were more interested in looking at how beautifully dressed each of us were. Everyone had put in a huge effort in dressing themselves us as some or the other Bollywood personality. The acts that followed were thoroughly enjoyable. What was even more amazing was actually winning the award for the best couple, which me and my husband Puneet shared with Mukesh andMeena . Following the acts we danced away into the night.

The next morning brought about my first meeting as a Circler. ‘Dames in Denims’ was the theme and every one of us was smartly dressed in denims and a shirt. We carried on with our meeting whilst the Tablers held their first meeting of the year in the pool. Following this we decided to explore Goa and we headed to the wonderful beaches, the lovely shacks and enjoyed ourselves. Girls being girls we also shopped for trinkets wherever we could along the way.

The evening brought about our second theme party of the trip. “The Hippy Night’ it was and believe me people put in such efforts to get into the character that it was actually difficult to recognize people on first sight. Long haired wigs, bandanas, neon colours and tattoos disguised us into carefree hippies. We danced into the night again and partied till the Goan Law permitted. Then we headed into a fellow circlers room and chit-chatted till the wee hours of morning.

Finally at about 4:30 am, we hung up our boots.

This drew the curtains to my first AGM. This was one of the most beautiful, exciting and exhilarating trips of my life. We bonded, built friendships and had a blast together. In a true sense I experienced living the spirit of Tablers and Circlers.

It would be unfair to end this report without a heartfelt thanks to everyone who organized this trip so meticulously and executed it to perfection.

Thanks for welcoming me to the SLC-72, I am truly proud to be part of this family.
