Dear friends,
There is one common language that is shared by all and that is the language of”smile”. It’s a universal language of kindness and we feel proud and contented as we succeeded in making so many children learn to maintain Healthy Smiles.
We organised a Dental check up camp at our adopted school “Rundh Kemdriya Shala” on 3rd Dec. It was actually scheduled for 4th Dec. but the school authorities called us on 3rd and asked to postpone it. However, our CP Monica’s keen efforts made it possible to reschedule the project on 3rd Dec and within an hour we were all ready along with our table chairman Tr. Mukesh, Tr. Bhavesh n Tr. Gaurav to add another feather in our cap.
Highlights
1) Dental check up was done by two doctors specialised in their fields
2) Doctors began by presenting a short HRD on how to maintain clean teeth, brushing technique, avoiding pan masala(as many children had started eating at such an early age) and chocolates and importance of brushing twice in a day.
3) Sec. Cr. Samta noted down the names of children according to the class in which they studied to know the exact number of students undergoing check up.
4) We also distributed a toothpaste and tooth brush kit, a banana and parle G biscuits to every child.
5) We also felicitated the doctors with a memento.
Total cost of the project was Rs. 3165/-
The children were happy and we felt contented as was apparent in our healthy smiles….
