Dear friends,

There is one common language that is shared by all and that is the language of”smile”. It’s a universal language of kindness and we feel proud and contented as we succeeded in making so many children learn to maintain Healthy Smiles.

We organised a Dental check up camp at our adopted school “Rundh Kemdriya Shala” on 3rd Dec. It was actually scheduled for 4th Dec. but the school authorities called us on 3rd and asked to postpone it. However, our CP Monica’s keen efforts made it possible to reschedule the project on 3rd Dec and within an hour we were all ready along with our table chairman Tr. Mukesh, Tr. Bhavesh n Tr. Gaurav to add another feather in our cap.

Highlights
1) Dental check up was done by two doctors specialised in their fields
2) Doctors began by presenting a short HRD on how to maintain clean teeth, brushing technique, avoiding pan masala(as many children had started eating at such an early age) and chocolates and importance of brushing twice in a day.
3) Sec. Cr. Samta noted down the names of children according to the class in which they studied to know the exact number of students undergoing check up.
4) We also distributed a toothpaste and tooth brush kit, a banana and parle G biscuits to every child.
5) We also felicitated the doctors with a memento.
Total cost of the project was Rs. 3165/-

The children were happy and we felt contented as was apparent in our healthy smiles….

Come 31st Dec. and Dance Parties are as common as Colours are on Holi. We at SLC-72 & SRT 135 are no exception and waved off 2013 by welcoming the new year amidst fun & frolic as all which starts well ends well. The theme for the party was Neon and the venue was the Banquet Hall of Basant Vihaar Restaurant. The arrangements at the venue were immaculate going entirely in sync with the theme Neon. The neon coloured balloons , ribbons, hangings, paper cuttings , lightings added a complete glitz to the ambience. A standee was also put outside the main entrance adding extra glamour to the venue. All the aspects very well taken care of by our hosts and fellowship conveners.
As the evening set in the ‘NEONITES’ dressed ravishingly in neon attires ,started pouring in . The hosts gave a warm welcome by tying a Neon Band to our wrists and presented a Neon Hair Band to all Ladies. Such was the enthusiasm of our dear Tablers & 41 ers that they were more keen to wear them . Almost each & everyone proudly flaunted their newly acquired head gears. Once done with the signature photos and accessorizing ourselves with a neon tattoo crafted by a professional tattoo maker ,who was hired specially for the occasion ,we were ready to rock the Dance Floor on the thumping music of electrifying DJ. Twinklers were most enthusiastic & they danced till late night. We savoured the hot and spicy cuisine laid out at the party.
